100 Years Young in 2021!
Nearing 100 Years of "SERVICE ABOVE SELF" in Kenosha!
The Rotary Club of Kenosha was chartered in 1921 by Rotary International. Our over 50 members are active citizens devoted to service. As a major service organization in Kenosha, we annually distribute grants to local organizations, provide hands-on service to the community, and sponsor youth programs.
Please consider joining us in service to the community, district, and world.
Dr. Indrajit Choudhuri, Electrophysiologist at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie, spoke at our luncheon. He shared that we have the best, high quality cardiac care, right here in Kenosha County. He also discussed expanding care delivery through remote monitoring & population health. Thank you Dr. Choudhuri!
Rotarians Fran Wargolet and Christine King participated in a Rotary Exchange trip to Peru! Read the full details in the Rotary District 6270 newsletter. Nine Rotarians from eight clubs participated and they met with Rotarians in Ica and Lima and their hosts were wonderful! There are several projects available if anyone is interested in helping: building a school in the Ica area for orphans (who currently walk two hours to get to school each day and looking to purchase bikes for them for now, so the trek is only one hour. The other project includes a school in the Lima area that is in dire need of improvements to the roof to prevent leaking, and there is a need for desks and chairs.
