Hannah Warren is a fellow Rotarian. In 2002, she was a Rotary Ambassador Scholar and traveled to India. There she fell in love with the culture, people and new she wanted to help in some way. She founded Jhoole, a social enterprise, nonprofit, fair trade garment cooperative that employs women in Maheshwar, India so that they can gain economic independence, invest in education and ultimately break the cycle of chronic poverty in their community and create a brighter future for themselves, their families, and their communities. They are also committed to fostering global awareness of the power of social enterprise to catalyze social change in communities across the world.
Hannah is also the Development and Marketing Director at Womanspace-Rockford, whose mission is connecting, empowering, creating and transforming our world – one woman at a time. Womanspace offers programs to enhance body, mind and spirit, with a focus in the creative arts, holistic health, interfaith exploration, and environmental stewardship.
