KUSD Vocation Awards:

On Tuesday we celebrated and recognized 39 students, from all 6 high schools, participating in the KUSD Career and technical education (CTE) programs.  CTE is split into 16 Career Clusters that apply to different high-demand careers: Health science, business, sales, finance, information technology, Science-technology-engineering-math (STEM), manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, government, law, agriculture, human services, construction, training, and arts-audio/visual technology- and communications. Students, administrators, teachers, and Rotarians all signed on to hear the amazing stories/accomplishments of these students.  Many of the teachers projected the program to the students thru their virtual classrooms and others signed on with their own devices.  Congratulations to all the Vocation Award winners and a sincere THANK YOU to  Cheryl Kothe, Ally, and all the teachers who nominated. Thank you for all you do for the students every day, but especially during these COVID times.
