Matt Johnson - Marsy’s Law of Wisconsin Equal Rights for Crime Victims

Marsy’s Law is a nonpartisan organization that supports equal rights to victims. It was established after a young woman Marsalee, “Marsy” Ann Nicholas was stalked and killed by her ex-boyfriend in 1983. Only a week after Mary was murdered, her brother and mother walked into a grocery store after visiting Mary’s grave and were confronted by the accused murderer. They did not know he had been released on bail. Roughly 79% of people in the state of Wisconsin favors Marsys law. The founder fully funds the project.
