KENOSHA COUNTY EXECUTIVE JIM KREUSER

Jim Kreuser, Kenosha County Executive handed out flyers highlighting some of the accomplishments that Kenosha County has done since June 2008. Quite a bit of economic development has occurred including Amazon, Uline, and Town of Paris land negotiations. It is important to continue to the specialized activities for milleniuals for example disc golf, off-road biking, and on-road biking. One of the biggest ways that the county has done some of these projects is partnerships. Build your roads, build them right, and maintain them is what Jim stands by. Most of the companies that have moved here have been privately owned companies which is huge as the owners believe that Kenosha County is a great place for their business. They are looking at their strategic plan by obtaining properties at bottom cost in order to incorporate the needs of the county. He talked about a variety of issues including the Kenosha Community Health Center facility expansion, the opioid epidemic, and the Biergarten at Petrifying Springs Park. Kenosha Human Services will work with anyone who has opioid issues that is willing to change their lifestyle. One of the new things that they have done this year is social media that gets their messages out!
