UW Parkside Big Read Event
Today the club was joined by Paige Barreto and Shauna Edson from the UW Parkside Library representing this year's Big Read Event. The book selected for the Big Read 2018 is "Station 11" a science fiction piece about a dystopian future in which art plays an interesting role in what's left of society. The ladies kindly brought some of the coveted copies of the book to share with our members. There are many interesting and engaging events planned this year including a Keynote Address and book signing by the book's author Emily St. John Mandel on Thursday February 15 from 6-9 PM.
