Lisa Dretske Brings Experience, Excitement to Kemper Center!

 

Our guest speaker today was Lisa Dretske from the Kemper Center. Lisa highlighted the many wonderful fundraisers that bring folks to the waterfront to enjoy the beautiful property campus while raising funds to continue the historic legacy of these wonderful venues - Twilight Jazz, Spaghetti Dinners, Fish Fry Fridays, Haunted House, Octoberfest, and Christmas at Kemper. The next event is the Sweetheart Ball at the Simmons Auditorium on Saturday February 11, 2017 from 7:30pm to 10:00pm.

 

Lisa's background in historical archaeology and her years spent as a self-proclaimed "shovel-bum" coupled with her enthusiasm for casting a bright light on everything the Kemper Center "gem" has to offer all point to a bright future for the facility!
