Kenosha/Racine Poets Laureate Program
John Bloner Jr. who is the President and Co-founder of Kenosha/Racine Poets Laureate Program, shared with us what they do. They work with poets in the area to encourage creative expression and literacy. Kenosha/Racine Poet Laureate program was started in 2011. John wanted to bring up one of the poets from their program, Esteban Colon, who had a few beautiful poems that he shared with us. John also shared with us some of the upcoming events. On January 20th, they will be inducting their poets at the Racine Business Center at 6pm. On February 10th at the Kenosha Public Museum will have an event with their poets.
